PAnalytics
Terms & conditions
Last updated
These terms provide a high-level framework for using documentation and legal links associated with PAnalytics, Privion's analytics offering for Microsoft 365 and related measurement. They do not replace your organization's master services agreement, order form, acceptable-use policy, or statements between you and your customers. Where those instruments exist, they control.
Service description
PAnalytics is designed so teams can review Microsoft 365 usage and security-related reporting (as enabled), optionally alongside classic web analytics. Features available to you depend on version, licensing, and how the instance was deployed.
Administrator obligations
Administrators must configure application credentials, permissions, and measurement in line with Microsoft’s requirements and your internal policies. You are responsible for tenant admin consent, least-privilege access to Graph scopes, accurate site and measurable configuration, and maintaining audit-ready documentation of what you track.
Lawful use & workforce transparency
You will use PAnalytics only for lawful purposes and in compliance with employment, collective-bargaining, surveillance, and privacy rules that apply to your workforce. Features that can associate events with employee-related attributes (such as e-mail, job title, or department) are off unless you explicitly opt in. When you opt in, you are solely responsible for notices, lawful basis, consent where required, and data minimization.
SharePoint and Microsoft 365 data
Data processed through Microsoft APIs or SharePoint measurement belongs to your organization’s Microsoft cloud agreement. You must not use PAnalytics to circumvent Microsoft technical or policy restrictions.
Third-party software
Portions of the product build on the Matomo analytics platform, which is open-source software under its own license. PAnalytics branding and extensions do not remove upstream license obligations applicable to your distribution or modification of those upstream components.
Disclaimer
Documentation and in-product help are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, except where mandatory law or a written agreement with Privion states otherwise. Analytics outputs are dependent on upstream data quality and configuration; they are not guaranteed to be complete, error-free, or fit for a particular compliance outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither Privion nor upstream licensors are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of PAnalytics or reliance on these pages. Liability caps and exclusions in your governing contract apply if you have one.
